Abstract
At this moment, Emotional Intelligence is the latest material to know about someone’s Emotional Intelligence level. Emotional Intelligence level not only can known by intellectual level, but also by Emotional Intelligence level. People with high Emotional Intelligence level, straightly can increase Job Satisfaction because when people’s Emotional Intelligence level is high, they can control their emotion and the way they think better so, jobs and problems can be solved with better ways. It’s true that Emotional Intelligence hard to measure, but with questionnaire for measuring Emotional Intelligence by Cooper and Sawaf (EQ MAPTM) and has been experimented to hundreds company and thousands workers, so Emotional Intelligence examiner don’t have to worry to describe about Emotional Intelligence. We expect that people with good Emotional Intelligence level, will have ability to control their emotion so at the end they can increase their Job Satisfaction in work environment. This research examine if there is relation and effect between Emotional Intelligence and Jo Satisfaction. Research sample is workers in PT. X, Logistic department, Soreang. Although there was no signification between Emotional Intelligence and Job Satisfaction, but I found that Emotional Intelligence has effect to Job Satisfaction even a little.
