Abstract
n the past century, several species of animals are being threatened, so the future of them should being protected. One of the methods is with the conservation, like zoo. Hopefully, it can be a new habitation for animals. Besides, human as a visitor, can be more care about animals around us that maybe out of our mind, or be scared and don’t want to know more about them. Project that will be designed is Kebun Binatang Bandung (Bandung Zoological Garden) which located at Kebun Binatang Street no.6 or familiar too with name Taman Sari street. The wide of Bandung Zoological Garden is 14 Ha with the total of the cage’s wide (aves, reptile, pisces, and mammal) is 19.676 m 2 and total of the building’s wide is about 6.214 m 2 . The building was old which is make it look bad. Same with the cages, several of them not match with the standard of animals’ cage. To solve the problems, Bandung Zoological Garden’s design match with that standard. Based in survey, the most visitor of a zoo is a family which is come to recreation and as an information media about flora and fauna for their children. Because of that reason, tha theme of this design is ”adventure”, that hopefully the visitors’ purpose can be reach and make them satisfied and feel the possitive effect from the zoo.
