Abstract

Constraints and difficulties experienced by residents of Kampung Stamplat Village, Dusun Ciparay, Desa Indragiri, Ciwidey Village, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency specifically in the context of education are the lack of internet connection/network, computer equipment for online learning systems, as well as building facilities for children's study rooms. child. This is a serious concern considering that education is very important for children and students. On the one hand, one of the potentials possessed by residents is the existence of youth and old people (men) who can be empowered to use their energy independently to build buildings with functions for public facilities. Based on the consideration that most of Bandung Regency's territory is included in the category of earthquake-resistant areas with moderate intensity, the implementation of earthquake-resistant wooden buildings is appropriate to be applied in Stamplat Village, as well as answering the obstacles experienced by residents, namely the need for building learning facilities. In this activity, the implementation of the research results that have been carried out previously will be carried out in Stamplat Village. The research in question is a modular house based on earthquake-resistant wood materials. The purpose of community service activities are the implementation of the results of previous research, namely the development of components that make up earthquake-resistant wooden houses into public buildings that function as public facilities, namely the study room for children and students at Kampung Stamplat. The activity is planned to run within the month of December 2021. The target of the activities are two groups, namely residents of Kampung Stamplat and Karang Taruna Desa Indragiri. The activity took place in Kampung Stamplat , Dusun Ciparay, Indragiri Village, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. The results of the research on earthquake-resistant wooden houses are the right solution to overcome the obstacles of Kampung Stamplat which is in an earthquake-prone area. The wooden buildings realized in this activity are very appropriate to solve the problem of the need for public facilities for learning facilities. The real result of this activity is the downstreaming of research results in the form of earthquake-resistant wooden buildings for the residents of Stamplat Village.
