Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menguji apakah big five personality memengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Dua ratus empat puluh enam dari 252 data yang telah digunakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan operasional PT Adetex. Outliers, validitas, reliabilitas, deskriptif statistik dan korelasi, telah dilakukan sebelum menguji hipotesis. Lima hipotesis diuji oleh analisis regresi linier sederhana dan majemuk. Hasil dari analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa empat hipotesis telah didukung memengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan operasional PT Adetex. Di sisi lain, hasil dari analisis regresi linier majemuk menunjukkan bahwa big five personality – agreeableness, neuroticism/emotional stabiliy dan openess to experience telah didukung. Implikasi dari temuan ini akan dibahas untuk penelitian yang akan datang.
