Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the adequacy of management control system implementation and find out how the role of control systems on the efficiency of production costs. Research methodology used in this research is descriptive analysis method with the approach to research through case studies. As for obtaining the data, conducted field research and supported by the research literature. From the results of this study can be seen that the implementation of management control systems carried out by the PT.INTRA MEDIA DIGITAL very adequate, as evidenced by the company's organizational structure and process of management control system which includes programming, budgeting, implementation of budget control and performance measurement. Application of management control system has a significant role on the efficiency of production costs. It can be seen that with the implementation of management control system, can encourage the achievement of cost efficiency of production, motivating managers in achieving targets within budget production, the production manager in order to motivate the production is done on time, and motivate managers in producing a quality product.
