Abstract

The company is an institution organized and operated to provide goods and services in order to serve consumer demand for its needs. In carrying out the production process, a company needs production factors, namely raw materials, capital, machinery, and human resources that can support the achievement of company goals. The human factor plays a very important role in the implementation of process production, therefore the company must always consider the human factor or those with a good workforce. Talking about how the company's employees will certainly pay attention closely related to the granting of compensation, where compensation is the fringe benefits provided to employees that the company can be valued by money. In this regard, the study sought to identify the influence of compensation on employee productivity. The study itself was conducted in PT. Karya Bangun Parahyangan located in Jalan Buah Batu number 164B. The meaning of the compensation itself is provided company's remuneration to its employees who can be assessed with the money. Compensation will include salary, benefits in kind, supplementary allowances, and work environment. The results showed that the magnitude of correlation coefficient is 0.73, which means the relationship between compensation with employee productivity is strong enough or tall enough. In addition, also obtained Kd value of 53.29% which means that employee productivity is affected by the compensation of 53.29%, while the other factors that affect labor productivity amounted to 46.71%, for example of environmental work, motivation, ideals - ideals , and others - others. Hypothesis testing performed in this study also showed a significant effect on the productivity of employees who can be seen from the rejection of Ho and Hi acceptance because of the magnitude t table smaller than t count (5.65> 1.701).
