Abstract
This research was conducted to test the role of a combination of wage incentive system performance and time of effectiveness and efficiency of direct labor.The research location is in the city of Cirebon. Research conducted at PT "X", which is one of the companies engaged in the service bike shop. The study was conducted from September s / d November 2009. Analysis method used is descriptive method of analysis. Research instruments are using observation and interviews. This research is expected to provide benefits for the improvement of existing systems, so that the treatment of employees based on the equity in terms of salary & wages. The results of this study indicate that the wage system contribute to the creation of effectiveness and efficiency of direct labor. The role can be seen from the amount of wages received by each mechanic is no longer the same after the application of a combination of wage incentive systems and time performance. Mechanic who worked on more units receive a larger wage, instead of doing mechanical fewer units receive a smaller wage.
