Abstract

Stock split merupakan salah satu bentuk restrukturisasi modal yang dilakukan oleh suatu perusahaan yang menimbulkan split effect, yaitu kegiatan yang berakibat naiknya jumlah saham yang beredar secara proporsional lebih banyak dari pada kenaikan kekayaan perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji dan menemukan bukti empiris mengenai ada pengaruh positif stock split terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2007 sampai 2012. Sampel dalam penelitian digunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh stock split terhadap harga saham pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2007–2012.
