Abstract
Rock Music High School is a place where students could have formal lesson about music, focusing on rock music using electric instruments. The absence of Rock Music High School, especially in Bandung, is the reason why people learn music autodidacly or in private course. Bandung, known as a city full or artists, has already produced a lot of musicians and famous bands. It becomes the background of constructing Rock Music High School there. The aim of the school is to become tools (medium and infrastructure) for rock music which is always popular in Indonesia to grow. The construction used is "Deconstruction Distortion". The idea came up from the fact that rock is a free music and one that opposes formality. It has something in common with the deconstruction concept which has a freedom in creating and opposing modernism. Distortion concept in music means voice beyond the normal level. That is why the concept used Refers to an analogy of breaking through 2 things which involve formal one and one opposing it. The role of designer is to create an atmosphere of rock for the interior blended by deconstruction and distortion theme. The most importantly, one is demanded to meet the ergonomic design and acoustic for the Rock Music High School.
