Abstract

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, struktur modal, profitabilitas, prospek pertumbuhan dan krisis global terhadap initial return perusahaan non keuangan yang melakukan IPO di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2008-2012. Ukuran perusahaan di proksi dengan logaritma natural dari total aset, struktur modal di proksi dengan debt to equity ratio (DER), profitabilitas di proksi dengan return on assets (ROA), prospek pertumbuhan di proksi dengan price to earnings ratio (PER) dan krisis global di proksi dengan dummy variable tahun 2008 sebagai tahun krisis global. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simulltan, ukuran perusahaan, struktur modal, profitabilitas, prospek pertumbuhan dan krisis global berpengaruh signifikan terhadap initial return. Secara parsial struktur modal dan profitabilitas tidak signifikan terhadap initial return, prospek pertumbuhan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap initial return, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan dan krisis global berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap initial return.
