Abstract
Academic information system is one of the support systems in academic activities. Academic information system aims to improve the performance of educational institutions. Academic information system usually consist of several modules such as student data management, student grades management, tuition payments, and the allocation schedule of courses and lecturers. X University is one of the educational institutions that are still using manual systems to manage academic data for master management program. The administration have difficulty in managing academic data. The administration is currently managing student data, student grades, scheduling courses and lecturers, and tuition payments manually, this situation make academic services for student becomes slower. This research will analyze the problems and develop an academic system using Java programming language, that will help the administration to manage academic data. This academic system expected to improve the performance and academic services at X University especially at master management program.
