Abstract
This research means to determine how far the inventory internal control system contributed in improving the production cycles at The Costume Closet in Jakarta. Research methods using descriptive analysis approach, non-probability sampling technique on 39 sample respondents. Techniques of data collection using questionaires and observation. Methods of analysis using cronbach alpha reliability, validity pearson product moment, a simple regression analysis, the correlation coefficient (R), coefficient of determination (R square), and hypothesis testing with ttest. Most of data processing helped by SPSS version 18. The results showed that inventory internal control system has a very strong relationship to the effectiveness in production cycles. Contribution effect is 60.1%, and 39.9% is influenced by other variables not examined by authors. All hypothesis testing has been proved that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the inventory internal control system has contribute significantly in improving the effectiveness in production cycles.
