Abstract

Rapid change occuring in the business environment has prompted prompted the company to reevaluate the way manage their bisiness, in order to compete and survive in the field of business. The size of the company’s performance in providing the necessaryevaluation of the achievement of company objectives. Performance measurement in comprehensive measure includes four perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, and perspective of growth and learning. Balanced scorecard is performance measurement tool against the four perspective above companies and are used by companies that intend to become an innovative company The object of this study conducted in PD. Cemara Agung the research method used by the author is verivikatif desccriptive study with a case study approach and the use of questionnaires and literature study as the primary data collection while the statistical test using pearson correlation with the t test, with a significant level of 5%. From the calculation value by using the pearson correlation coefficient can be concluded that variabel X (role of the balanced scorecard) have a significant effect on variabel Y (performance improvement company) with the percentage of influence of 11.80%, while the remaining balance of 88.20% influence by other factor.
