Abstract

One of ways to achieve purposes in the process of employee recruitment which is always done by a company to get the best employee is to evaluate when the company hold recruitment. Human resource management must have a definite program for this evaluation phase. A company should establish an audit device which is tasked to evaluate a company performance, namely human resource management audit. Human resource management audit is established to assess the impact of employee recruitment. The audit of human resource management is a tool to identify the weakness of recruitment process, so it is very useful for a company to give more positive direction. PT Inti (Persero) is a communication company, it has many workers to support the company’s business activities. The large amount of employees is gained by recruiting people who are competent in their fields. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of human resource management audit on the effectiveness of employee recruitment in PT Inti (Persero). This study used qualitative descriptive method dan is supported by literature study to test the hypothesis using Rank Spearman correlation with n : 30 and significance level α : 0.05. From this result of analysis and calculation of correlation, the correlation coefficient is obtained 0.990. This shows the strong influence of the role of human resource management audit and the effectiveness of employee recruitment. The positive numbers describing the proportional influence, means the better human resource management audit, the greater effectiveness of recruitment assessment. The coefficient of the determination 0.9801 means capabilities of human resource management audit in measuring the effectivenss of employee recruitment for 98.01%, and 1.99% the remaining by other variables which make the company always makes an effort to fill the vacant position immediately. From this analysis and calculation of correlation, obtained thitung > ttabel, it proves human resource management audit has important contributes in the effectiveness of employee recruitment.
