Abstract
Indonesia is one of the country that has a lot of traditional culture, but many of its people are not realize that the traditional culture is very important to keep. Young generations have to conservation the Indonesian traditional culture for future life. They have to learn and love their traditional culture since their childhood. Sundanese Children Gallery (Galeri Anak Sunda) is designed as a place for children to learn about Sundanese culture. Gallery has many facilities that will support all the learning process for children by many fun activities. Sundanese Children Gallery (Galeri Anak Sunda) can be the place for study, recreation and tourism. The design concept, of Sundanese Children Gallery (Galeri Anak Sunda) is ulin bari diajar (learning by playing), with fun design application in shape and ornament that will facilitate children needs in study and play. In applicating concept and theme to be a design, bambooes are mostly used. Bambbo is one of the material that has known as Sundanese traditional material. Concept and theme are used to be an idea for provision of room facilities that is gallery, retail toy shop, course classes, mini auditorium and many more. In this case, the child ergonomy and adult ergonomy is one of the important thing that has to be observed, to create the design that will comfort and save for both, children and adult while doing thir activities. This design is acculturate process between modern and traditional without removing the traditional values.
