Abstract
This purpose of this research is to identify correlation between cash turn over and Net Profit Margin. PT. Astra International Tbk period 2004 – 2008 is used as sample in the research. Analysis regression, and correlation is used in the research and for the research test, author used t test analysis. After the calculation, the results show that the value of coefficient correlation is –0,8043, coefficient determination is 64,8025%, and t value is -2,350177147. Based on the research and analysis, it is concluded that cash turn over has no correlation with Net Profit Margin of PT. Astra International Tbk. period 2004-2008. It is shown by the result of t test analysis on the 5% significant level obtained t table = 3,182 < t value = -2,350177147 < t table = 03,182. So author suggest to PT. Astra International Tbk. in order to increase performance of manage another current assets likes receivable, stock, and another assets for the optimal profitability. And for next researcher, author suggest to take a note of pay attention for another variables which is wasn’t used in this research.
