Abstract
SOGO Department Store yang berada di Bandung, merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang retail yang memiliki proses bisnis yang cukup kompleks dalam pengolahan data kepegawaiannya. Sampai saat ini, pengolahan data tersebut masih menggunakan sistem manual yang belum terkomputerisasi dan penyimpanan datanya masih tersebar serta belum terdokumentasi dengan baik. Oleh karena itu penulis bertujuan membangun aplikasi database untuk pengolahan data pegawai, data acara, data gaji, data cuti, data jadwal, data absensi dan pengolahan laporan berbasis web. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi ini adalah dengan observasi langsung pada SOGO Department Store Bandung. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk mendukung pembuatan aplikasi ini yaitu bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL untuk mengelola database serta Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 untuk membuat website.
