Abstract

At the time of the global crisis that hit the country in the world, certainly the economy in each country will be shaken. Not a few companies that adopted a policy to reduce the number of employees. This is done by the company because the company wanted to compress and save costs due to the global crisis. Payroll accounting information systems needed to support the effectiveness of internal control salary. To determine the role of accounting information systems in supporting the effectiveness of internal control salary, writer doing research on a company that specializes in motorcycle sales. PT. "X", which is located at Jl. Soekarno Hatta Bandung in West Java. This study using Quantitative Descriptive method case study approach and the literature study. From the results of studies that have done the author, was PT. "X" has implemented an accounting information system with adequate salary, this is seen from the criteria set, which consists of the elements of accounting information systems such as the existence of forms, records, procedures , reports, human resources, and equipment. So that it can support the effectiveness of internal controls with corporate salary objectives of internal control salary. Based on the results of research and discussions conducted by the author, it can be concluded that the accounting information system adequate salaries to support the effectiveness of internal control salary.
