Abstract
The role of controller is most need in the managing and internal control for the salaries. The controller has the responsibility for the implementation of internal control, including the salary internal control. In accordance with thing above mentioned, the author will discuss about: 1) The role of controller , 2) Effectiveness of the salary internal control, 3) The role of controller in order to support the effectiveness of salary internal control.The author has conducted the research in Cimahi municipality with location on Jl. Rd. Demang Hardjakusumah Bloc Jati Cihanjuang – cimahi 40513. In writing this mini thesis the author has conducted the hypotheses testing, that is, “An adequate controller can play a role to support the effectiveness of salary internal control”. In this research the method used was a descriptive method which has purposed to describe the research object using the case study approach data collecting was conducted through the field research, that is, using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and through the library study. This research is designed to understand how significant the controller play a role in order to support the effectiveness of the salary internal control in the Cimahi municipality. Discussion results is obtained the explanations that the controller has played adequate role in order to support the effectiveness of the salaries internal control, that is, 74.30%. Based on research results and discussion can be concluded that: 1) The role of controller conducted in adequately, 2) The salaries internal control was conducted in enough effective, 3) Controller has played enough role in order to support the effectiveness the salary internal control. Recommendation that the author can be given to assist it improve the professionalism along with to give direction. For the civil servants so that they work their job in compliance to the regulations and procedurals.
