Abstract
People are no longer able toexpress their true love. Love is what is wrapped by ‘Synthetic Love’. From romantic couture turned into plastic corset that embraces the body tightly…from the smells of roses turned into the smell of rubber, synthetic made for costumes, umbrella, handbags and hats… thousands of tiny heart-shaped plastic itemssurrounded by synthetic fur made for scarf…even pair of nylon glovesaccentuated with plastic parts……. Puisi di atas, cukup memberikan gambaran mengenai apa itu Synthetic Love. Sebuah karya seni berupa busana-busana ajaib yang bercerita tentang pelik-indahnya, hitam putihnya cinta. Sebuah karya seni bangsa yang sangat unik dan patut dihargai. Namun di balik itu semua, keberadaan dokumentasi mengenai hal tersebut sangat minim, itulah mengapa topik ini sayapilih sebagai topik TA.
