Abstract

An effort of awareness and a love of nature should be implemented as early as possible. Youth as the future generation should be aware of how important a sense of caring for nature because nature will continue to support life in the future. One way to foster a spirit is through music because music, according Djohan in his book Psychology of Music, can affect the audience emotionally so that they can influence the activity of his audience, especially youth who has a lot of activities accompanied by music. Therefore, Country music community in Bandung (CMCI) cooperate with the VOA and Aquarius Musikindo hold a country music concert organized by the program called Countribute for targeted youth aged 19-25 years with a theme called "A Tribute to Nature". The aim of this event is to invite young people to aware and have a passion and love for nature. The reason why country music is taken is because country music has a positive characteristic especially in concern for nature. The authors obtained through library research to get all information and data related to this event and its visual design. It is by reading books that are relevant to an issue to collect references to the theories that support, and field studies. The data obtained in order to do this thesis is divided into two kinds of theory, general theory and special theory. The author will discuss the general theory about graphic design theory, color theory, advertising theory, communication science, and psychology of music. While the special theory will discuss the knowledge of country music itself. Based on the concept design, visual planning begin to make the creative planning and creative arrangements. In the end, it can be concluded that the visual design of a program aimed at the youth has its own difficulty level. Is the visual design is acceptable or not by the target, depending on the sensitivity and foresight the author as a graphic designer.
