Abstract
“Sistem Penjualan dan Inventory pada Toko Besi Sinar Harapan dengan menggunakan Wireless Apliccation Protokol (WAP) dan Aplikasi Desktop” is an information system developed for Sinar Harapan so that Sinar Harapan could sell their product online. With SPI Sinar Harapan, customer who want to buy product from Sinar Harapan can use their cellphone and buy some products directly from cellphone. Customer don’t have to come to Sinar Harapan and the goods that they purchase will be delivered to the given address. Mainly, SPI Sinar Harapan has 2 main applications which are a WAP site and a desktop application.. The WAP site is based on PHP and will be used by customers. The desktop is based on C# and will be used at the store to manage transaction data, inventories, users and also customer data. All data from both WAP site and deskop application are stored in an SQL 2000 database.
