Abstract

A poem is usually a short piece of writing which contains rhymes. Modern poets do not bother too much about rhymes any more. It is the theme that they are more concerned with. This article contains poems depicting the pros and cons concerning topical phenomena in the year two thousand and three. The poems are about the disease called SARS, a controversial singer and cinetron actress named Inul Daratista, and beggars who haunt drivers at traffic lights in big cities in our country.
