Abstract

Bebras Challenge is held yearly to promote informatics and computational thinking among school students through Bebras tasks. The preparation of Bebras tasks for the Bebras Challenge is performed through Bebras International Task Workshop. In the workshop, International Bebras Community (IBC) will invite all its members from several countries to discuss the task proposals. The workshop will generate a set of Bebras tasks which are utilized in Bebras Challenge. To support the international workshop, Bebras Bureau Maranatha Christian University performed an online Bebras Task Workshop for teachers. In the workshop, teachers learnt to develop Bebras tasks based on good criteria of IBC. There were 15 teachers who followed the workshop on 4 March 2022. The workhop resulted 9 Bebras tasks from 5 teachers. The lecturers in Bebras Bureau Maranatha mentored teachers in developing, revision and translation of Bebras tasks. As the result of tasks review process of Bebras Indonesia, there were 5 tasks that should be improved. Based on tightly final review of Bebras Indonesia, only one task is eligible to submit for the International Bebras Task Workshop in May 2022.
