Abstract

The image of Woman in Hendra Gunawan’s art work shows the unique visualization. It arises because Hendra Gunawan not only emphasize on aspects of a woman’s body but also sensuality, the through visual language approach in a way it can be said that Hendra Gunawan tocusea element of narrative inside, where women as a source of inspiration for telling about the image of a strong Indonesian women without leaving the value which has become feminine nature. It can be displayed through an enlarged depiction of the body that was developed in some parts to express an important impression, and took the advantage of the way variety how to tell in detail the scene described.
