Abstract

Lately, there’s a great increase in company going public to gain more capital so they can compete in market. In capital market, investor will consider company’s performance to make investment decision. Company’s performance can be seen from financial statements which company announce to public. To be useful, financial statements can be analyzed by ratio analysis. The purpose of this research is to test impact liquidity and profitability on stock price manufacturer’s company. Population of this research is all company listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Eighty five sample is collected using purposive judgement sampling method. Variable used in this study are Current Ratio as proxy for liquidity ad Earnings Per Share as proxy for profitability. Moderated Regression Analysis is used as the method of data analysis. Results from t-test shows that Current Ratio doesn’t have significant impact on stock price, which shown by Sig value 0,650 > 0,05, which means Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. Earnings Per Share doesn’t have significant impact on stock price, which shown by Sig value 0,114 > 0,05, which means Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. Interaction between Current Ratio and Earnings Per Share have significant impact on stock price, which shown by Sig value 0,008 < 0,05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
