Abstract

One of the goals on the establishment of standard remuneration or so-called Regional Minimum Wage is the best basis for renumiration to the workers/employees, or at least, it is an attempt to fundamentally eliminate the inequalities and directed to achieve decent living needs for workers and their familly. Similarly, the purpose of compensation is to lure the employee's performance at his job. Both two factors are an effort to ensure employee satisfaction. Although these are not the only factors to ensure the increases of employees performance, at least the clarity of reward and compensation is an important part of the employees satisfaction creation. The Purpose of this study is to understand the implementation of renumeration and management compensation for workers as laborers on Ultrajaya Milk Industry tbk Cimareme Bandung and to know whether or not the Regional/District Minimum Wage increases and its management compensation will affect the working performance of the operational employees. This research is descriptive quantitative resarch with the form of survey approach and questionnaire as its data collection tool. Samples are taken at random or by using simple random sampling. The variable to be researched is the Regional Minimum Wage in this case District Cimanere (X1) and Management Compensation (X2) as independent variable, also working performance of operational employees, in this case factory workers, as the bound (unindependent) variable (Y). This research is analyzed by using statistical parametric with the technique of multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination and correlation significance test. The research shows that there is a significant positive effect of an increase of Regional Minimum Wage on the performance of the operational employees and management compensation to the performance of the operational employees, also both to the performance of operational employee and has a strong relationship between clarity of Regional Minimum Wage increase and well management compensation with the performance of operational employee, in this case factory workers.
