Abstract
Occupational commitment reflects the “psychological bond” that ties the employee to the occupation but that the nature of the bond can differ depend on the three components of commitment, Affective, continuance, and normative commitment. The three components have implications for the decision to remain involved with it. The aim of this research is to know the influence of achievement motivation and task value to occupational commitment. The result of this research shown that achievement motivation and task value have influence to Occupational and Affective commitment. While, achievement motivation only had influence to continuance, and normative commitment.
