Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh inflasi dan suku bunga terhadap profitabilitas bank yang diukur menggunakan ROE. Adapun variabel yang digunakan adalah Inflasi, Suku Bunga, dan Return of Equity (ROE). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah bank yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2009-2012 dan memiliki data inflasi, suku bunga, dan ROE lengkap selama periode 2009 – 2012. Model regresi digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai model analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Inflasi dan Suku Bunga tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas bank baik secara parsial maupun simultan.
