Abstract
Church architecture in Bali is developed from local traditional culture combined with modern culture or the culture where the religion came from. Some churches develop religion culture through traditional architecture adaptation. This phenomena is a development, through absorption, adoption and utilization, of architecture space and form elements into church architecture. The adaptation of traditional and church architecture circumstantially generate a different and unique church architecture tradition with the ones developed in the culture where it came from. This is shown through the synthesis of visual expression and intrinsic principal, which illustrate the communication intimacy between church architecture and local Christian congregation in Bali.
