Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal dan faktor makroekonomi terhadap profitabilitas di Industri Manufaktur Sektor Barang Konsumsi yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2013 – 2017. Variabel penelitian tersebut adalah Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), tingkat inflasi, suku bunga, dan nilai tukar. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dan didapat sampel sebanyak 33 perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi data panel dan diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi EViews 9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh keseluruhan variabel adalah sebesar 23,06%. Secara parsial variabel-variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap Return on Equity (ROE) adalah DER, inflasi, suku bunga, dan nilai tukar.
