Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran status identitas domain agama pada remaja kelas 10-12 SMA. Gambaran status identitas diperoleh dengan cara mengukur serta mengkombinasikan tinggi-rendahnya skor aspek eksplorasi dan komitmen dari setiap responden. Terdapat 168 remaja yang menjadi responden dari total populasi 177 remaja. Setiap responden mengisi kuesioner yang dibuat oleh peneliti berdasarkan teori status identitas Marcia (1993). Kuesioner berisi 35 item, yang terdiri dari 15 item aspek eksplorasi dan 20 item aspek komitmen. Validitas item kuesioner berkisar pada rentang 0,170-0,537, dengan nilai reliabilitas 0,802. Terdapat empat status identitas yang terbentuk pada responden. Secara berurutan status identitas yang terbentuk adalah Identity Diffusion (36,3%), Identity Achievement (26,2%), Foreclosure (22%), dan Moratorium (15,5%). Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, diperoleh kesimpulan adanya kecenderungan peranan orang tua yang cukup besar dalam pembentukan identitas domain agama pada remaja, terutama peran ibu. Pada penelitian yang lebih lanjut disarankan untuk meneliti metode apa saja yang efektif dilakukan orang tua untuk membentuk identitas agama yang achieve.
