Abstract

An artefact existence in art is important, because it is a stepping stone to research deeper for the artefact’s meaning. Artefact is a marking, its existence is a proof to convey truth and filled with pure values for human conscience to be afraid and always thankful to God. In contemporary art context, this is an ingredient for artworks contemplation. This art piece entitled “Setelah Lima Roti dan Dua Ikan” (After Five Breads and Two Fish) represents God’s love in blessing to human. Fish bone artefact has truth meaning and message about blessing human race has received. Thus human has to remember God as the source of blessing in the universe.
