Abstract
In 2008th global crisis had aftermath financial failure and economic failure to many big firms and caused the firm failed to maintain its survival. The firms failure had make disadvantages to many people especially investor and its make investors worried to investing their fund in such condition and caused lackadaisical in money market and stock market. Based on this condition, the writer makes a research and entitled “Financial Statement Analysis and Bankruptcy Prediction Using Altman, Foster, Zmijewski And Springate Model For Aneka Tambang Inc In 2003-2008.” Population in this research is mining companies that listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange, this research take sample Aneka Tambang Inc and analyzed with financial ratio analysis and bankruptcy prediction with Altman, Foster, Zmijewski and Springate models. Purpose of this research is helping the investor to make investment decision. Results of this research using financial ratio analysis is management performance of Aneka Tambang Inc get better in the research period, and the bankruptcy condition of this company according to Altman Model is in 3 research period (2003-2005) company condition lay on grey area, while the other 3 period (2006-2008) in good condition. Altman model result are supported by Foster, Zmijewski and Springate model that proclaim a good condition of the company.
