Abstract
The Measurement of bank’s financial performance is very useful to the importance of all related parties, both the owner and manager of the bank, people who use services, as well as Bank Indonesia as the builder and supervisor of banks. Assessment of Bank Indonesia's performance based on CAMEL ratios which consist of Capital, Assets, Management, Earnings, and Liquidity. Capital is an important factor for a company in order to develop their businesses and to accommodate the risks that might happened. Indicators used are CAR, DPR, RR, EPS, PER, Dividend Yield, PBV, BV, DER, and DAR. Assets is the cultivation or placement of bank funds, both in rupiah and foreign currencies which are intended to get revenue directly. Indicators used are RORA and NPL. Management is an assessment to ability of bank to manage the funds, either in an attempt to collect or distribute existing funds and coordinating other potential contained in the bank to achieve certain goals. Indicators the used are NPM and OPM. Earnings is intended to measure the level of efficiency health of bank in obtaining a profit. Indicators the used are ROA, ROE, BOPO, FIR, and NIM. Liquidity is the company's ability to fulfill the debts of the corporation, can pay back all the loans customers, and can fulfill the demand for credit is submitted without delay. Indicator used is LDR. The purpose of this research is to know whether the ratio of CAMEL which consist of Capital, Assets, Management, Earnings, and Liquidity have an effect on the stock prices of publicly listed banks in the period 2005 - 2008. From the results of multiple regression statistical analysis obtained results that the ratio of Capital, Assets, Management, and Earnings simultaneous have effect on stock prices of publicly listed banks in the period 2005 - 2008. Meanwhile, the ratio of Liquidity has no effect on stock prices of publicly listed banks in the period 2005 -2008.
