Abstract

The competition in business world today is increasingly tight and remains competitive. Every company should be able to gain and maintain human resources quality. To gain and maintain human resources quality, the company should be able to provide support to enhance employees’ job satisfaction. One way is by providing compensation to employees. If given compensation is considered adequate so it will emerge motivation in the employees them selves to work, and directly will increase employees’ job satisfaction. This study uses multiple regression tests as data analysis model. At 5% significance level of t test results show that compensation affect job satisfaction with the value of sig. for 0.000, whereas motivation does not affect job satisfaction with the value of sig. for 0.401. Simultaneously compensation and motivation affect job satisfaction with the value of sig. for 0.001.
