Abstract
One of the most important activity of the company is selling and it is the central point for the company. Selling activities are useful to obtain the optimal profit to improve company performance and to maintain the company's survival in the long term. Companies need the information before making a decision to implement the business strategy in order to survive in a competitive business that exists today. Companies need accurate, relevant, timely, and complete informantion that can give confidence in decision making. The purpose of this study was to assess the extent to which accounting system that runs the current sales at pharmacies CV "Keluarga" can provide the required information. Data analysis using the method of qualitative analysis. The results showed that the accounting information system that runs it is still done manually. In other words, the new accounting information systems sales of drugs have the orientation towards to a computerized system.
