Abstract

The unstable economic condition of Indonesia which is caused by the economic global crisis affect price stocks in capital market. There are others investment alternative which investor can choose when price stocks unstable. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of rate of deposit interest, US foreign exchange, and gold price on composite index. The data used are rate of deposit interest, US foreign exchange, and gold price period January 2003 – September 2008. Data are analyzed with multiple linier regressions. The result showed that rate of deposit interest, US foreign exchange, and gold price have significant influence on both partially and simultaneously.
