Abstract
Family business is the most common form of business in the world with characteristic of several family members involvement and practicing certain level of control in the business. Small to medium size of family business especially in Indonesia. is often seen as a less professional business than non-family business. Limited planning, limited use of finansial management, succession issues, etc. are all factors that are believed to be the cause. Adding the sustainable development implementation will create another question whether it is possible or not for a small to medium family business to adapt all those aspects and what benefits can it gained from implementing those strategies. Family business in drug store form is one form of family business that have large inter generation family succession level. This paper use qualitative methods and tries to examines the management of small to medium drugstore business which have the vision of sustainable development and examines it from its economic values, how the practice of finance management, social and environment benefits. The result shows that small to medium size drugstore business can be managed well enough and generate economic, social and environmental benefit while keeping intact the sustainable development essence.
