Abstract
Conjunction is Japanes can be in the forms of lexical and verbal inflections. One of the conjunctions discussd in this article is verbal inflection. As its morphological function uses morpheme (te), it is also called verbal (te) or suffix te. Basically, (te) combines two sentences to form compound sentences. As a conjunction, it carries meaning indicated by the following sentences or clauses. It signifies"and", "then", "so", "therefore", and so on. (te) form is also identified as "subjunctive mode", so it can be understood according to the speaker's intension.
