Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses are the frontline health workers who are relied on for handling it. The pandemic situation makes the workload increase with a high risk of transmission, and not to mention its impact on life domains such as social and economic. This can affect what can lead to unpleasant feelings and also affect the individual’s assessment of life satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of positive r-coping training to increase SWB in nurses at RS ‘X’ Cimahi. This study used a single-group Pretest- Post-test design. The participants in this study were 7 nurses with active status, aged 18-60 years, the degree of SWB was in the moderate category. The SWB measuring instrument used is SPANE and SWLS from Diener. In this study, the post-test carried out 3 times to determine changes in SWB from the training effect after some time. Post-test 1 was administered immediately after training. Post-test 2 was administered 30 days after training. Post-test 3 was conducted 60 days after the training was conducted. Hypothesis testing using non-parametric Wilcoxon Test analysis to test the difference in SWB values before and after training. As a result, positive r-coping training can increase the SWB of nursing staff.
