Abstract
The basic idea of these posters creation is to convey the message of the dangers of plastic pollution by utilizing the image of the waste plastic itself, such as bottles, straws and plastic bags. These images are reorganized with visual rhetoric in an effort to give new connotations to the original images. So the audience can see the causes and consequences caused by plastic pollution. Here are shown 4 poster series of plastic pollution. Each of them represents a theme about the dangers of plastic pollution: 1) plastic pollution in the ocean of life sources transformed into a sea of death; 2) plastic waste that pollutes our food; 3) depiction of contamination in the water we drink and use; 4) Eventually, all this waste will flow back to the human body itself in the form of various deadly diseases visualized in limp skeletons.
