Abstract
Kondisi kehidupan sekarang sudah menjadikan internet sebagai kebutuhan utama. Sebut saja dalam hal edukasi, sekolah dan universitas berusaha agar internet dapat diakses di dalam lingkungan sekolah atau universitas tersebut dengan cara memasang access point pada beberapa titik agar setiap area dapat terjangkau internet. Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Kristen Maranatha memiliki sistem jaringan nirkabel dengan access point pada berbagai titik agar jaringan dapat meliputi seluruh area. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas jaringan maka dilakukan pengukuran atau penelitian terhadap kualitas jaringan. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Site Survey. Pengukuran Site Survey dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kekuatan sinyal, channel, dan cakupan wilayah yang terjangkau oleh jaringan nirkabel. Hasil pengukuran akan diolah dan akan diberikan rekomendasi atau kesimpulan untuk meningkatkan kinerja jaringan nirkabel.
