Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh audit internal terhadap pencegahan kecurangan. Jumlah responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang yang terdiri dari karyawan middle level hingga high level termasuk auditor PT Bank Central Asia Tbk Bandung. Metode penelitian ini adalah data primer, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh audit internal terhadap pencegahan kecurangan. Hasil koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,498 yang bearti pengaruh audit internal terhadap pencegahan kecurangan sebesar 49,8% dan sisanya 50,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.
