Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tax avoidance terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel intervening. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data perusahaan manufaktur dengan kriteria tertentu (purposive sampling) yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2013 sampai dengan 2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara langsung tax avoidance berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya menunjukkan pengaruh secara tidak langsung tax avoidance memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas (ROE) sebagai variabel intervening.
