Abstract

In Bandung, West Java, there is a place renovated to resemble a museum and is filled with traditional children toys. In a glance, nobody will guess that the small building on Jalan Sunda number 39A is a 1980’s toy museum. Upon entering the Zero Toys Museum, visitors will be greeted by the rows of robots on the display shelves. Zero Toys is the only die-cast toy museum in Indonesia. Not many people are aware of the existence of Zero Toys Museum; on the contrary, only a very small number of people in Bandung are aware of it. This is due to the lack of information and promotion regarding the museum. In addition to it, people know Zero Toys more as a toy store instead of a museum. As a possible solution for this problem, it is deemed necessary to do a rebranding for Zero Toys Museum to give it a new image. It is hoped that the older generation may be able to remember the toys they played with when they were younger. The rebranding is also aimed to promote the museum as a place to get information about toys for those who are interested in collecting toys.
