Abstract

Human resources are important assets for the company in its activities. In addition to capabilities and skills, commitments also required by the employees. Someone will do their best in doing their tasks if they have commitments. Organizational commitment as an attitude that reflects the loyalty of employees to the organization and a continuous process in which employees express their concern for the success and welfare of the organization. Organizational commitment is divided into three aspects, namely the strong desire of employees to remain part of the organization, employee willingness to help the organization achieve its goals, and beliefs of employees on the value and acceptance of organizational goals. Organizational commitment can be influenced by various factors. There are three factors that affect organizational commitment, which are personal factors, organizational factors, and non-organizational factors. Employees who have commitments to the organization will feel more concerned to develop their knowledge and expertise so that it can be used in the event of organizational change.
