Abstract

This study reviews various research literatures about the reaction of the capital market to the component of earnings accrual which is often become the base for developing the research question, the hypothesis and the methodology of the research. This literature study reveals the motivation behind the study about the reaction of the capital market to the accrual component, explains various models and tests of accruals discretionary.
