Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify significant influence in partial nor simultaneous of Return on Equity and Debt to Equity Ratios to stock return. The samples election in this research is purposive sampling methods. Samples taken is 29 companies whose belong to LQ-45 stock index in August 2008-January 2009 during 2 years (financial statement of 2006-2007 and stock price of 2006-2008). Data was analyzed with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method. Before analyzing, the writter do the four classic assumption test first (autocorrelation test, multicolinearity test, normality test, and heteroskedasticity test). Due the researched, the result show that regression models is free from autocorrelation, multicolinearity, normality, and heteroskedasticity trend. The result of this research indicate that simultaneously all of independent variables hasn’t affected to stock return, and partially both Return on Equity and Debt to Equity Ratio hasn’t affected to stock return at the level of 5 %.
