Abstract

Investors need the information before making a decision to invest, both through fundamental and technical approach. With fundamental analysis, investors use information such as audited financial reports. With the technical analysis, investors see stock prices. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of earnings per share (EPS), price earnings ratio (PER), and book value per share (BVPS) on the stock prices both simultaneously or in partially. This method of research using hypothetical test methods, particularly the test for the hypothetical causal or a result, the hypothetical relationship that a variable may cause changes in other variables. The data in this research are taken from LQ-45 Company’s period 2005-2007. The data are analyzed used Multiple Regression Analysis. The results show that EPS and PER affect stock price significantly, but book value per share does not have a significant effect on stock price. The result show also that EPS, PER, and BVPS affect stock price significantly.
